Newport Beach Daytrip

This summer (I’m obviously on top of things, huh?), we were able to take a day trip over to Newport Beach together as a family. I’m quite excited to be so close to so many different and unique locations and attractions just in Southern California–most of which can be visited in one day. Newport Beach was one I’ve been wanting to visit since I’ve only been to Huntington. Although we did not go to Newport Beach Pier (Little Corona del Mar Beach was higher on my list and did not disappoint!), we absolutely loved Balboa Peninsula and touring the history of the town. We found free parking and used the provided trolley to go up and down the different landmarks and stops. It was honestly such a fun (and exhausting) day. We drove by the Newport Beach LDS Temple on our way home and it was just as beautiful as it is in pictures.
